Derek Wessels has over 20 years of automotive retail management experience. Prior to joining LWG, Mr. Wessels spent 12 years with Bridgestone Retail Operations where he held various senior level management positions with Firestone Complete Auto Care.

While at Firestone Complete Auto Care Mr. Wessels experienced a high level of success leading high performing teams while growing markets across the Central United States. At times Mr. Wessels had direct oversight of 200 plus Firestone Complete Auto Care stores and over 2,000 teammates. Mr. Wessels led many special projects at Bridgestone and held the Chairman position for the President’s Leadership Council at Firestone Complete Auto Care.

Prior to Bridgestone Mr. Wessels spent nine years with Driver’s Edge Auto Repair managing various markets across the state of Texas.

Mr. Wessels earned his degree in Automotive Technology Management and currently resides with his family in Lone Tree, CO.
