Judd K. Shader
Mr. Judd Kyle Shader is the founder of Leeds West Groups (LWG) along with LWG’s active and current Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Shader is a Board of Directors Member of LWG and present Managing Member of all LWG entities. Mr. Shader is additionally active across various other automotive industry boards.
Mr. Shader founded LWG in 2009 with two automotive locations in Colorado, testing the appetite for well capitalized groups getting involved in franchise automotive aftermarket repair acquisitions and management. In 2011 Mr. Shader expanded the brands with a new fund named Leeds West Tire Groups, Inc. with the addition of the Big O Tires into the portfolio. By 2012, Mr. Shader had built the company’s portfolio to include three unique automotive national brands and concepts all master-franchised by TBC Corporation, a sub-entity of Sumitomo Corporation – making LWG the only group to hold and operate these three unique automotive brands. The diverisity that LWG has created now allows them to operate across three platforms covering all aspects of the aftermarket automotive repair industry. LWG brand positioning now includes complete auto care service, quick lube, and tire care allowing LWG to be able to go after any aftermarket repair retail group concept in the US, all using major national retail brands to do so. In 2012, Mr. Shader launched LWG Realty Group quickly moving the fund into its next chapter. In 2013, Mr. Shader reshaped the company by assembling a specific automotive-focused franchise management team focused around the three brands with the creation of Wenco Leeds West Management Groups and the partnership with Mr. Jeffrey R. Genuario and Wenco Industries, creating one automotive management focused group.
In the spring of 2013, Mr. Shader alongside Mr. Genuario announced the largest acquisition in Midas history with the additional of 30 locations in nine new states as Leeds West Investment Group, officially retiring TBC Midas International from the company-owned store business. In 2017 Mr. Shader announced again the new largest Midas acquisition in the brands history with the purchase of the ASE Group, a ESOP organization of 42 Midas locations across six midwest states and a top 25 aftermarket Automotive Group.
Mr. Shader is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and currently resides in Denver, CO.
